Description
Italia in Miniatura is a theme park founded in 1970 and located in Rimini. Inside there are over 270 miniatures of the most famous monuments of the Belpaese, such as churches and masterpieces of history and architecture, such as the Colosseum, the Tower of Pisa, the Basilica of San Pietro, the Two Towers of Bologna, the Basilica of Sant’Apollinare in Classe or the other major Italian cities.
You will also have the opportunity to navigate the Venice canals, meticulously reproduced, with the Grand Canal and Piazza San Marco.
All these reproductions are surrounded by several thousand trees, also in miniature.
To be able to admire all the beauty of the park you can get on the Rainbow Monorail: the view will allow you to see the entire Italian nation, from the Alps to Sicily, flanked by another area dedicated to Europe in Miniature: the Eiffel Tower, the palace of Shonbrunn, the Little Mermaid of Copenhagen and the Parthenon.
